2020 is going to be a monumental year for me, so that's why I am re-launching hatchetonbass.com to document this new decade in all the glory that will be required.
This blog is going to be all-encompassing; we're going to talk about everything that is relevant to anything under the sun and hell, probably even in the milky way galaxy. I am going to be writing about everything from what I'm up to musically, namely with Switch N' Whisky to entertainment, history, wrestling (AEW!), occult knowledge, video games, and yes, even those dreaded topics like politics and current events. Apologies in advance to all the political atheists who will stumble upon this and be disappointed.
So with that being said, let me get down to the most important thing I have going right now, and that's Switch N' Whisky. Those of you who know me know I have been at it hard trying to get this band off the ground for a very long time. Three years ago the guys and I stumbled across Vern Daysel on Spotify and we contacted him not long after because we felt that he would be the best fit for the band and the music we were trying to do. Fast forward to this past September after years of red tape, lawyers and legal fees, and Vern did finally arrive and we spent the fall getting ready with a good set list so that we could kick off 2020 with a bang. We just played our first show at the Enforcers MC Clubhouse in Riviera and WOW, what a wild time it was. Check out the video below of us doing Mama Kin.
It's almost like we know what the hell we're doing.
Right now the band is occupying the majority of my time, but I am also working on some other things--namely some short stories. Science fiction, of course, which I have always wanted to try my hand at. It's not quite ready for a reveal yet, but I'll be releasing some stuff hopefully later this year.
Oh and keep out for the Switch N' Whisky originals. They will be here before you know it.
